Twin Peaks Breaking Ground on Irving Brewpub on Friday

will break ground on their first in-house brewery this Friday at 4 p.m.. The new brewery will supply small batch custom beers to Twin Peaks locations in the area (including the just-opened Twin Peaks on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas), eventually expanding to the other restaurants in Texas.

The 2,800 square foot brewery will be part of the breastaurant’s new Irving location and will feature a 27-foot-tall grain silo to emphasize the from-scratch operation.

Tom Janik is Twin Peaks brewmaster. The brewery will produce three custom beers: Dirty Blonde, Naughty Brunette and a pale ale called Ginger’s Ale. Under new Texas law, brewpubs can sell up to 10,000 barrels of beer a year, which sounds just about right for this thirsty city.
