Lawrys the Prime Rib in Dallas opens new patio

“The patio is open and ready for business,” writes Lars Staberg, the general manager of Lawry’s, The Prime Rib in Dallas in an email to Hatch HQ. “We will be installing a 46 inch all-weather TV in about a week.” The patio addition coincides with Lawry’s The Prime Rib’s 75th anniversary this year. The chain opened in 1938 in Beverly Hills, California. Also new to the Lowry’s: a grilled rib eye steak, the  first new entrée in about 20 years.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib is best known for a menu almost laser focused on slow-roasted prime rib, which is carved tableside from rolling silver-domed carts.
