Cane Rosso hires new pizza chef with street cred for Fort Worth pizzeria

Pizza King Jay Jerrier has found a new Pizza Magician for his soon-to-open Cane Rosso palace in Fort Worth.

His name is Shon Ben-Kely, and he’s worked at other pizza kingdoms, including Settebello Pizzeria in Las Vegas, which is a Hatch favorite. Cane Rosso’s press release says Ben-Kely is a member of Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN) and Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani (APN). In case you’re interested in the guy’s 411, the release also says this of Ben-Kely:

“In his limited free time, Chef Shon enjoys cars and motorcycles, racing, and some Jersey Shore GTL: Gym, Tan, and Laundry. ”

No date has been set for the Fort Worth Cane Rosso’s opening, but I’m betting 360 West Magazine will have the details first.
