First Look at the American Express Centurion Lounge DFW Airport

I spend a lot of time at DFW International Airport. I bet you might, too.

Now we have a new place to hang out, and it’s really, really swanky.

American Express has opened one of its signature Centurion Lounges in Terminal D at DFW. The DFW American Express Centrurion Club is located in DFW Airport Terminal D, near gate 17. This is American Express’s second Centurion Club;(the first is in Las Vegas and a third is under construction in San Francisco.

Access to The Centurion Lounge includes high-end amenities like free 15-minute massages and manicures (!), a free food buffet with dishes created by Dallas chef Dean Fearing, free booze (even Texas-inspired signature cocktails), private work spaces with computers, comfy chairs and tables, and free WiFi.

How do you get all this cool free stuff? Two ways: Flash your American Express Platinum or Black card to be waved in for free (you can bring one guest), or pony up $50 for a day pass.

The American Express Centurion Club is a terrific place to hang out. I visited recently and came away impressed. Good-bye, AA Admiral’s Club. I’m hanging out in the Centurion Lounge.

Take a look at this place. You’re gonna be impressed. Here’s an EscapeHatchDallas.com video review:
