Despite rumors, Lockhart Smoke House not expanding to Fort Worth…yet

The Hatch HQ tip line  was smoking hot yesterday, as inquiring minds asked if Lockhart Smoke House was opening a branch in Fort Worth.

“Not yet,” Lockhart Smoke House’s smoking hot co-owner Jill Bergus told the Hatch. “But it’s something we’re definitely going to consider.” Bergus says her phone and email also blew up with questions and tweets  since her cousin – who owns Kreuz Market in Lockhart, Texas– posted on the Kreuz Market website this image, which says Lockhart Smoke House has “locations in Dallas, Plano, and Fort Worth.”

“This is really good market research,” Bergus told me.
