Exclusive: The Grape restaurant has a new top chef: Sarah Snow

Sarah Snow will take the spot as top chef at Greenville Avenue boîte The Grape restaurant, co-owner Brian Luscher confirmed to EscapeHatch today. Her first day in charge will be September 1. Luscher and his wife Courtney together own and operate The Grape.

“I couldn’t be more excited about Sarah Snow joining our team as chef de cuisine,” Luscher told me. “She’s got the chops and the culinary vision I am looking for. It is an exciting time for The Grape Restaurant. I’ve always felt this was a ‘chef’s joint,’ and Sarah is going to fit into that role just right.”

Snow will move to The Grape from The Common Table in Dallas, where she has been their executive chef. Prior to that, she worked at the now-shuttered Village Kitchen in Highland Park.

Snow is one of the nicest, most talented chefs in town. Expecting great things from an always great kitchen. (Wonder if she’ll be able to top The Grape’s cantaloupe-black pepper jam…)
