Well-known itinerant chef David Anthony Temple (you probably know him by his nickname, Chef DAT) is opening a real bricks-and-mortar restaurant. He’s taken over Holly Muller Warren’s cute little My Private Chef space in Deep Ellum and converting it into Twenty-Seven, a Thursday/Friday/Saturday, dinner-only restaurant with two seatings, 27 seats and prix fixe menus. A super secret private supper club component offers members who pay an annual fee access to VIP events and priority reservations.

The name “Twenty-Seven” is also an homage to the 27 Club, a group of popular musicians (Cobain, Joplin, Morrison, Jones, Hendrix, Winehouse) who died at age 27

An early November opening is planned.
