NYC’s Shake Shack is shopping for sites in Dallas

Danny Meyer’s famous Shake Shack, a burger concept now valued at a billion dollars, is shopping for site locations in Dallas. They’re “definitely considering” three spots, a real estate guru tells the Hatch: one near the Katy Trail, another in Uptown and a third in Highland Park. If you’ve been to their flagship location in NYC’s Madison Square Garden (which is now 10 years old), you know Shake Shack makes a good burger, decent fries and killer milkshakes. Or you could snore your way through their march to Dallas and grab an equally good parkland burger here.

Shake Shack previously announced plans to open in Austin; Houston is also rumored to be on the drawing board.
