Maui’s best fish tacos are now available in Dallas, at Coconut’s Fish Cafe

<p class=”has-dropcap”>For a two-page story in the Dallas Morning News a couple of years ago, I ate at 72 different restaurants in Maui — from fancy hotels to modest poke shops — to identify the best places to eat on the island. My favorite tacos? The ones at Coconut’s Fish Cafe. Now, a franchise of that Maui restaurant has opened in Dallas on Lovers Lane near the Dallas North Tollway. It’s the first in Texas, and since they say they’re serving fish like mahi mahi and ono from Hawaii, chances are good that this Coconut’s could be great.  Don’t miss the grilled fish tacos with mango salsa, the  house-made tartar sauce or the coconut milk coleslaw.
