Pizza Hut testing new Uber-like order tracking app in Dallas that tracks GPS progress of your delivery

Dallas-based Pizza Hut will test a new pizza navigation system in Dallas next month prior to rolling it out nationwide later this year. The Uber-like app-based system allows customers to order through the app then track their pizzas from “Hut to Home” (their phrase), including the exact road coordinates of the delivery vehicle and a photo of the driver who will soon knock on the door.

Update: a Pizza Hut spokesman says “multiple Pizza Hut locations in Irving, Fort Worth and Tarrant County in general will be participating in this new technology.”
