Uchi Dallas set to open June 1

Uchi Dallas, the newest sibling in chef Tyson Cole’s expanding Japenese fusion empire, will open on June 1, and reservations for opening week are already on the hot list.

The space is sleek, modern and warm, thanks to lots of wood and thoughtfully placed lighting. And from what I tasted at a VIPreview a few weeks ago, Uchi Dallas’ chef, Nilton “Junior” Borges, is set to hit home runs with a menu thats equal parts Uchi Austin, Uchi Houston and uniquely Uchi Dallas.
