Pollo Tropical expands across DFW, opening new Hurst location yesterday

People love them some Pollo Tropical. Now those of us in Dallas, Fort Worth and the Mid-Cities can love them more, because the Caribbean-flavored casual restaurant known for its citrus-marinated grilled chicken has finally opened their new Hurst location.

A Grand Opening is scheduled for tomorrow, July 3, but employees at the store say they opened for business on July 1.

In addition to grilled chicken, Pollo Tropical sells Caribbean-inspired soups, salads, wraps, juices, coconut water, rum punches, Cuba Libras, palm trees, fried yuca, sweet plantains and slow-cooked black beans. The chain is owned by Texas-based Fiesta Restaurant Group, which also owns Taco Cabana.
