Chef Graham Dodds leaving Hibiscus to open new concept
is leaving his top chef gig at Hibiscus to open a new as-yet-unnamed restaurant with the Brandon Hays & Phil Schanbaum of This and That Concepts. (They own High Fives, So & So’s, Standard Pour and the soon-to-open Whippersnapper.)
Dodds, Hays and Schanbaum are taking over the former Kirby’s Woodfire Grill at 3525 Greenville Avenue for the new 200-seat restaurant, which is expected to open late this year.
Dodds’ final day at Hibiscus is slated for October 7.
