Maui’s Coconut’s Fish Cafe brings Hawaii fish tacos to Plano

With six billion dollars worth of commercial construction on its front porch, the Dallas suburb of Plano is gaining its fair share of new restaurants. Some — like Hash House A Go Go and Coconut’s Fish Cafe are actually interesting.

Coconut’s offers really fresh fish tacos — the Dallas owners told me they fly in Coconut’s fish from Hawaii a few times a week, and only work with top quality ingredients.

Now there’s a new Coconut’s Fish Cafe up north at 1900 Preston Rd, Plano. Don’t miss the grilled fish tacos with mango salsa, the  house-made tartar sauce or the coconut milk coleslaw.
