FW’s Market + Table has shuttered, despite owner Todd Fiscus’ star background

Eagle-eyed Meda Kessler at 360 West Magazine hit upon this early: Market + Table, the restaurant/market in Fort Worth’s West 7th area, closed today. The take-away restaurant/market opened last September in the former Tillman’s Roadhouse space with Kalen Morgenstern as chef and Dallas star event planner Todd Fiscus as the owner.

“The light foot traffic just makes a restaurant concept in this area unsustainable.” Fiscus confirmed in a media release. “We tried two really fantastic concepts that the public really embraced.  But, unfortunately, like many of the other restaurants in the area, we just couldn’t make it without more regular customer activity.”
