Chef Chad Bowden leaving Culpepper Steakhouse for new Deep Ellum restaurant
Chad Bowden, the longtime chef of Culpepper Steakhouse in the Dallas suburb of Rockwall, tells EscapeHatch that he’s headed to a Stirr, a new Deep Ellum restaurant slated to open next month. The menu will feature dishes like seared foie with purple hull pea hash and filet asadero with cheddar-chorizo grits. Stirr is taking over the former Art Bar at 2803 Main Street.
