New pizza place packs plenty of Mellow for hip Henderson Avenue

Classic Southern” pizza and more ice-cold craft beers are headed to an eclectic corner of NoDa (North of Downtown Dallas).

See that building above, at 2326 N. Henderson Avenue, north of downtown Dallas? It’s about to sprout into a free-wheeling Mellow Mushroom. They call themselves purveyors of “Classic Southern” pizzas, refer to their catered parties as “mellow affairs” and operate a mobile pizza oven called a “bake bus.” Their legion fans are wild about them. The new location is across from Veritas and Gemma, which isnt quite as mellow as SoCal, but it’s as close as we get.

An opening date hasn’t been set, but Mellow Mushroom Dallas is already hiring.
