Texas Monthly’s new rankings of the Top 50 best barbecue joints in Texas is out, and Franklin BBQ in Austin is no longer the top. You may be surprised to learn who is.

And a Dallas newcomer cracks the Top 3, which no longer includes Pecan Lodge (though it remains a Top 50 pick). Hutchins in McKinney and Heim in Fort Worth also get nods. The Top Ten:
