Norma’s Cafe brings its “Mile High” pies (and free chicken fried steaks) to Plano with opening of new restaurant tomorrow, June 13

brings its brand of home-style cooking to Plano when it opens its fifth DFW location tomorrow, Tuesday, June 13. The new restaurant is located at Creekwalk Village, 605 West 15th Street.

Like its other four, the new Norma’s Cafe location offers everything from big, fluffy biscuit breakfasts to mile-high pies. The company still operates its original Oak Cliff restaurant, which opened in 1956

The company says the first 100 customers at the new store on opening day will win free chicken fried steaks for a year (I guess that’s 52 steaks, or 3 if you take your cardiologist’s advice), but there are other prizes if you don’t make the cut. Doors open at 0600.

I don’t know Norma. Never met her. But I hear her pies are pretty darn good. Here’s a link to her new menu.
