Take a video tour of Sachet, the new Dallas restaurant from owners of Gemma that you will love

Restaurateurs Allison Yoder and her chef husband Stephen Rogers have another SRO hit on their hands with Sachet Restaurant, which opened a few days ago on the edge of Dallas’ tony Highland Park neighborhood.

Sachet’s Mediterranean-inspired menu skews more eastward than northwest, which means you’ll find bold dishes flavored with za’atar, star anise, Persian cucumbers and cumin rather than red tomatoes and garlic (though they are both employed judiciously). I love Sachet’s small but intensely flavored portions and the dozens of meze selections designed for sharing (three for $14, five for $21).

Opt for something like roasted turnips with Syrian red lentil purée and caramelized shallots, or the Lebonese okra roasted with coriander, shallots, lemon and chiles, and I think you will find a lot to like about Sachet, too. The restaurant has a comfy, unpretentious vibe— just like Rogers’ food. Come take a look inside Sachet >>
