This Just In: Kitchen fire forces closure of Neighborhood Services restaurant in Dallas
A multi-alarm fire fire during the lunch rush today has closed Neighborhood Services at Preston and Royal Roads. An EscapeHatch reader with an inside angle says the fire began in the kitchen venting system and quickly spread to the roof. The resulting smoke, water and fire damage has closed the restaurant but repairs are already underway. No word on when Neighborhood Services will re-open.
