Steak king Al Biernat sets opening date for his North Dallas steakhouse: October 18

<p id=”vTmJrq”>Restaurateur Al Biernat has set the opening date for his second eponymous Dallas steakhouse: September 18. The restaurant is located at 5251 Spring Valley Road, which also happens to be the space that Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse occupied for many years.

Biernat spent more than  $4 million to renovate the building, adding windows, an atrium and private dining areas. The wine cellar holds 8,000 bottles.

The original Al Biernat’s location on Oak Lawn Avenue, now 20 years old, still draws a crowd.
