Village Baking Company moves to Dallas Design District, opens retail boulangerie

Homegrown bakery Village Baking Company finally outgrew its digs near University Park and SMU and has moved its operations to the Dallas Design District. The new location, at 4924 Woodall Street (near the intersection of I-35 and Mockingbird) serves retail and wholesale customers. Want a great croissant or a dozen authentic, beeswax-coated caneles? VBC bakes and sells them in their storefront bakery. Pick some up — or let UberEats bring them to you. The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
