Fort Worth’s Tacoheads taco shop expands to Dallas Knox-Henderson neighborhood

Fort Worth-based Tacoheads is expanding to Dallas, bringing its elotes, breakfast tacos and al pastor to town with the opening later this month of its first location outside of Cowtown.

Tacoheads started life as a mobile food truck before morphing into a bricks-and-mortar store.

“We’ve been dreaming of opening a taco shop in Dallas for years and can hardly believe this large milestone of success for our company is almost here,” a note on the Tacoheads website exclaims.

The new location is 1921 N. Henderson Ave., in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood that already has more than its fair share of excellent tacos. Look for a July 22 opening, though the company says that date will mark a “soft” opening followed by an official opening the following week. Not sure what the difference between “soft” and “official” openings is, unless the menu or pricing will be different.

Thanks for the H/T, MK!
