The Henry, from team behind Flower Child and North Italia, opens in Uptown February 13

The folks at Fox Restaurant Concepts (Flower Child, North Italia, True Foods Kitchen) are opening a slew of restaurants in DFW. Next up: The Henry, which callas itself “the greatest neighborhood restaurant. The place looks glam, for sure, with bright windows, tall ceilings and a chic industrial look with classical touches. The Henry, at 2301 Akard Street at Cedar Springs, is slated to open February 13. The location is just down the street from Happiest Hour and a new North Italia slated to open early this year.

The Henry opening in Dallas is Fox’s third, joining The Henry locations in Phoenix and L.A. Like its siblings, the Dallas restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with a weekend brunch because Dallas and West Hollywood like brunch. A lot.

Imsub Lee has been tapped as The Henry’s chef. The restaurant specializes in casual cooking, offering a full coffee bar, breakfast burritos, omelettes and eggs in the morning. For lunch, there will be burgers, salads, pasta and a poke bowl (because you have to have a poke bowl on the menu to be hip right now). At dinner, it’s like lunch with the addition of big plates like paella, prime NY strip steak with umami butter and portobello tacos.

The Dallas menu hasn’t been released yet, but you can peek at the Phoenix menu in the shot above and the whole thing here. Make a reservation on Open Table or call them at (972) 677-9560.
