Ocean Prime Dallas has a new “Most Anticipated” Top Chef!

Just like in the movie E. T., longtime Ocean Prime Dallas executive chef Sonny Pache has been called back home to the company’s Cameron Mitchell Restaurant home base in Columbus, Ohio.

And that leaves some big shoes to fill.

The good news is that Pache and Ocean Prime Dallas sous chef Brandon Moore wear the same shoe size, at least in the OPD kitchen.

Effective last week, Moore is now the executive chef of the Uptown Dallas steak and seafood restaurant. He knows the menu well, too; Moore had been Pache’s sous chef for four years.

I’ll miss Sonny, who was a really great guy, but ‘m looking forward to seeing what Moore has in store for us in the next few weeks.
