SoCal seafood restaurant Water Grill to open in Dallas this fall
More restaurants moving into town, this time SoCal seafood interloper Water Grill, says it will open a Dallas store this fall at 1920 McKinney Avenue, just north of Klyde Warren Park in Uptown Dallas.
Water Grill’s first location opened in 1989 in downtown Los Angeles and operates locations in Santa Monica and the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. The Dallas location will mark Water Grill’s first out-of-state restaurant.
The rotating menu includes an “extensive selection of seasonal, fresh seafood including Wild Alaskan Red King Crab Legs, Live Wild North American Hard Shell Lobster both steamed with homemade coleslaw and drawn butter, Large Channel Island Red Sea Urchin, prime meats including a 20 oz. dry-aged bone-in Ribeye and delicious desserts including a Caramel Bread Pudding with ale red sea salt. The Farmed Ecuadorian Shrimp and Grits with merger sausage ragout, also provides an elevated take on a Southern classic,” says a press release.
The Water Grill Dallas bar offer 20 locally brewed beers on tap and 35 wines by-the-glass.
