Coconut’s Fish Cafe in Dallas has closed, to be replaced by Texas Scratch Kitchen

Dallas’ first Coconut’s Fish Cafe has closed. The Preston Hollow taco and fish purveyor with Maui roots posted a sign on their front door directing patrons to their new Plano location adjacent to Hash House A Go Go. The Dallas store opened in late 2014.

A restaurant called Texas Scratch Kitchen is taking over the space, promising a menu of “traditional Texas fare with a modern twist,” which sounds like just about every restaurant opening in Dallas these days. “Fresh. Local. Handcrafted.” So no robots will be making your food.
