The Keeper, new seafood restaurant from the founders of Legacy Food Hall and Velvet Taco, has tapped a noted Dallas chef to lead the kitchen


A few weeks ago, we told you about The Keeper, a seafood-focused restaurant expected to open later this year in Plano. When The Keeper debuts,  a familiar Dallas face will be running the kitchen.

Former Good 2 Go Taco  and Acme F+B chef and co-founder Colleen O’Hare has been tapped to create and execute the menu for the Pacific Rim restaurant with a tiki lounge, says a Hatch fan who knows such things.

The Keeper is from the creative Front Burner restaurant group. The restaurant is slated to open in July. Its siblings include The Ranch at Las Colinas, Whiskey Cake Kitchen, Ida Claire, Velvet Taco and the soon-to-open Haywire, is under construction across from Mexican Sugar, another Front Burner concept.
