Get to One90 Smoked Meats in East Dallas before the TV crowds find them
BBQ enthusiasts (and now restaurateurs) Kyle St. Clair, Adam Weatherread, and Herman Guerra may be your barbecue secret weapon. The trio who met years ago while attending Bryan Adams High School, teamed up a couple of years ago to make their barbecue passion their career. Together, they own One90 Smoked Meats in East Dallas and, as the name suggests, theirs is no ordinary barbecue joint. This place makes it easy to serve craft barbecue at home whenever you want — and wherever you call home.
The shop has already attracted attention from tv host Guy Fieri, who was spotted filming at One90 Smoked Meats a few weeks ago.
Instead of combo plates and cafeteria-style service where meats are carved to order, One90’s schtick is vacuum-packed barbecue that tastes as good at the shop as it does when you reheat it at home a few days later.
Brisket, ribs, salmon, beef tenderloin, lamb and pork are slow-smoked over oak and pecan, then vacuum-sealed to lock in moisture. One90 sells the goods by the pound, portioned and bagged in pouches that you reheat by plopping in simmering water.
They’re the exact same meats One90 stacks on good bread for sandwiches at lunch and dinner — heated to order then handed to you to munch at the small counter up front or on metal tables outside. It also means you could potentially indulge in the exact same One90 barbecue meats anywhere, whether you live in East Dallas, on the East Coast or in East LA.
Texas BBQ in LA, flyover country and the East Coast? A silver-spiked investment in One90 could also mean big barbecue success in One90’s future.
