If, after following the turmoil at The Commissary, you thought One Arts Plaza in downtown Dallas was going to the dogs, you’d be right.

On Sunday, May 13 (Mother’s Day), from 11 AM to 3 PM, One Arts Plaza will close off its traffic lanes and make room for a brunch event series especially for pets and their owners.

“Bring your dogs, enjoy the beautiful weather, the lively fountains, live music and entertainment and indulge in brunch on the expanded patios from any of the 5 delicious restaurants,” touts the e-mail I received from One Arts’ spokesman.
