Former Charlie Palmer chef Scott Romano creating menu for new Uptown restaurant, lounge


Former Charlie Palmer chef Scott Romano confirmed he is creating the menu for Parquet, a new restaurant/cocktail lounge under construction on Cedar Springs Road in Uptown Dallas.

The site sits on a second floor level above Coal Vines.

Romano led the now-closed Charlie Palmer in downtown Dallas to critical acclaim. Several talented chefs such as Wil Larsen and Taylor Kearney (now at Front Room Tavern) trained under Romano, who is particularly skilled with steaks and fresh pastas.

Most recently, Romano was top chef of the now-defunct Frisco Gun Club.
