The Capital Grille in Plano Will Open August 4

The Capital Grille will open its second area location, in Plano’s Shops at Legacy-North, on August 4.

Last November, I broke the news here, writing that “Capital Grille will open next year in the space currently occupied by Williams-Sonoma … at the intersection of Legacy Drive and the Dallas North Tollway. The new Capital Grille will have more seating than the Dallas location and include three large private dining rooms.”

The Plano location will be open
Monday – Friday
11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

(the lounge remains open all day)

Monday – Thursday
5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday – Saturday
5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Sunday
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m

I’m a big fan of the Dallas Capital Grille and of GM Greg Cavanaugh’s, and included them in my story in the current issue of Modern Luxury Magazine, which focuses on restaurants.

In what may be a first for a restaurant company, Darden Restaurants, the parent company of Cap Grille and the nearby Seasons 52, among others, accurately predicted when they would open the new store.

Oh, pictures and an inside look will follow soon.
