Meet, Greet & Eat: Chefs Michael Psilakis and Alex Strata at Cool Buick Event Next Week (It’s Free)
What does a car brand know about food? Dunno. But Buick thinks cooking, eating and test-driving go together better than, say cooking, eating and drinking.

Chef Michael Psilakis, whose former NYC digs, the restaurant Anthos, is one of only two Greek restaurants in the world with a Michelin star, is the top draw. In 2008, Psilakis was one of F&W Mag’s Best New Chefs and Bon Appetit’s Chef of the Year. He’ll be teaching some cooking demos. You get to learn. And taste. And drive vehicles from Buick’s 2012 line-up. Oh, and F&W’s 2010 Best New Chef, Alex Strata, will be there, too. (Strata left his Alex resto at the Wynn in Vegas earlier this year, so he’s got time on his hands, too.)
WHAT:
Buick has partnered with FOOD & WINE magazine to bring an exclusive culinary event to Dallas. Invited consumers will have the opportunity to attend full cooking demonstrations and sample several dishes, while also getting a first-hand look at Buick’s 2012 line-up.

- Pastry Demonstration with Chef Ben Roche, Executive Pastry Chef of Moto in Chicago, Ill., and Co-Host of “Future Foods” on Discovery’s Planet Green Network

- Wine Tasting with Michael Green
- Cooking Demonstration and Sampling with Celebrity Chef Michael Psilakis, FOOD & WINE’s 2008 Best New Chef and Bon Appetit’s Chef of the Year
For every guest, Buick will make a donation to The FEED Foundation, in support of their efforts to create good products to help feed the world’s hungry, one bag at a time.
