We’re Giving Away Free $35 Tickets to the Addison Art & Wine Stroll October 27-28

Holloween is knocking at the door, so here’s a treat: Free tickets to a food and wine event.

EscapeHatch is giving away two pairs of tickets to the Art & Wine Stroll on October 27 and 28 at Addison’s Vitruvian Park. You could buy your $35 tickets here. Or you could let us buy them for you–just send us an email (editor@escapehatchdallas.com) with the words “Wine Stroll” in the subject line. As long as we receive your entry by October 24, you’re entered. (We’ll notify the winners by email on October 25)

Chef Richard Chamberlain (Chamberlain’s Steak & Chophouse and Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill) is coordinating the food and wine, which includes heavy snacks like fondue, flat breads tight hummus and goat cheese, seafood cocktails with chipotle cream and roasted pears with bacon and brie, all paired with some California wines.

For $89, you can attend one of Chamberlain’s dinners at the events (call 972-934-2467 for reservations),  which he’s billing as a two-day “pop-up” restaurant called Elements. (Um, ok…). The menu looks pretty sharp, though:

Sous Vide Sea Scallops with Butternut Squash-Sage Brown Butter and Texas Muscat Syrup (Joseph Carr Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast 2009), Mushroom Soufflé, Hydroponic Watercress Salad and Truffle Essence (Buena Vista Pinot Noir, Carneros 2007), Iron Seared Filet Mignon, Lobster and Crabmeat Dynamite, Yukon Potato Cake (Elements by Artesa Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa/Sonoma 2007), Flaming Plantains with Latte Da Dairy Goats Milk Caramel Sauce.
