Hot Date: Art Institute Student Fundraiser Dinner on Saturday, April 20 at Holly Muller’s My Private Chef
It’s the fundraising season, which means we’ll be highlighting a few of the notable raiser graisers around town over the next few weeks. With Cotes du Coeurs behind us and TACA at the Mansion popping up in two weeks, Deep Ellum’s My Private Chef is squeezing in right between them. Owner Holly Muller is throwing open her catering kitchen and showroom to three Le Cordon Blue culinary students this Saturday to raise money for scholarships.
Art Institute teacher/chef Robbie Hooker will supervise students Connor FitzGerald, Brittany Paul and Ashley Pellegrino as they cook an Italian-inflected dinner Saturday night. The dinner begins at 8:30pm and ends when all the liquor runs out. All the ingredients will come from the Coppell Farmers’ Market.
I’ve attended a few of Holly’s dinners. They are a blast. I guarantee you will have fun and leave wondering why you haven’t attended before.
