The Design District has a new tenant, and this one likes to drink.

Wine Poste is a new wine retailer and event space whose main niche is online wine sales that can be delivered in Texas or picked up at the store. Wine afficionado (and frequent DMN Wine Competition judge) James Jordan is the general manager. The online store has a good selection of wines that span the globe. Shipping starts at $5.

“Along with offering our customers the ability to buy fine wine online, our venue was designed with the Texas wine lover in mind,” says their press material. “We have various wine tasting and event entertaining areas for our Dallas patrons; the Lounge, the Library, and our private Banquet Room. These rooms can be rented individually or all at once giving our wine loving clients the opportunity to use the space exactly to their needs – fine wine tasting, winemaker dinners, chef driven private dinners, catered events, etc.

“While our core business is sourcing and selling the best wines online through our website and our onsite wine program, we are available to book and coordinate public and private wine tastings, elegant wine dinners, corporate meetings and mixers, convention visitors, birthday parties, wedding showers, bridal showers, baby showers, or just a night out with a friend enjoying a bottle of wine.”

They have a wine club and frequent tasting events, too. Worth checking out.

The Wine Poste, 2001 Irving Blvd, Suite 145, Dallas, 214-272-3221.
