Four Dallas Chefs Create Small Batch Gelato Flavors, Now in DFW Central Market Stores

Houston-based Trentino Gelato has added four Dallas chefs to its Chef Series of small-batch gelatos, now available by the pint at all Dallas area Central Market stores.  Known for crafting silky, rich sorbets and gelatos in chef-inspired flavor combinations – all made with top-notch ingredients – Trentino’s local gelato lineup includes black garlic pistachio (chef David Anthony Temple), sweet corn caramel (chef Sarah Green of Oak), caramel buttered popcorn (Matt McCallister of FT33) and coconut mocha (barman Eddie “Lucky” Campbell). “These really are our recipes,” says Temple, adding that Houston-based Trentino’s version of his black garlic pistachio gelato tastes identical to the one he makes from scratch.  $6.99, trentinogelato.com.
