Hot Date: Restaurant Week Begins August 12. Here’s The List of Participating Dallas – Fort Worth Restaurants

Every year, restaurateurs complain that their margins are too low to participate in Restaurant Week, yet every year the list of participating restaurants grows stronger. This year is no exception. A portion of each RW meal’s price is donated to help fund the North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope Home. Another equally significant portion goes to fund RW overhead.

Be mindful that restaurants usually operate on slim profit margins. While most Restaurant Week participants will be offering a nice prix fixe meal at an attractive price (lunch ($25) or dinner ($35 or $45)), you can’t expect any restaurant to sell you the same $95 meal they serve every night for just $35.

Dallas Restaurant Week officially begins August 12 (and many of the participating restaurants will continue to offer the RW menu through September 1).

Here’s the list of participating restaurants. You might want to use Open Table to reserve your space.

Act fast, though: Many restaurants limit the number of RW reservations on any given night, hoping to fill up their books with full-price customers.
