Chef Tim Love awarded contract for all catering and food service at Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial golf tournament

one of Fort Worth’s favorite sons, has another new gig. In addition to his Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, Woodshed Smokehouse, Love Shack and Queenie’s Steakhouse, Love will is now the exclusive on-course concessionaire and private hospitality caterer for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.

Love will operate about 20 concessions stands across Colonial’s golf course and grounds, plus more than 50 additional corporate hospitality suites. The 2014 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial is scheduled for May 19-25.

The Colonial contract follows two years after another big Love sports score. In 2012, Love became the sole caterer and food service provider for the hospitality suites at Texas Christian University’s Amon Carter Stadium.
