Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival kicks off Thursday then winds down Sunday. Here’s what you need to know.
Fort Worth jumps into the food and wine festival mix with its own Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival late this week, March 27-30.
The four-day fun begins Thursday night with a kick-off party at then winds down late Sunday with a food truck fair. In between, there’s plenty to sip and savor, including a Taste of the World on the stage of Bass Performance Hall and headlined by Stephan Pyles and Jon Bonnell, a Grand Tasting of wines and craft beers, mimosas at the Modern Art Museum, and a killer burger bash featuring more craft beers, a baker’s dozen of burgers and live music.
You can buy the whole package, or pick and choose the events you want to attend. But be forewarned: tickets to the Burgers, Brews and Blues event sold out weeks ago and despite a release this morning of 100 additional tickets, most of them are already gone. (I just snagged a couple on the Web site, so if you want to go, click here and commit now.)
