New at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse: Japanese A5 Kobe Beef

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse added true Kobe beef strip steaks and rib-eyes to its menu of prime and super-prime steaks last night.

The beef is sourced from Kobe prefecture in Japan from animals raised on American football reruns, beer, popcorn and pizza, which explains why it’s so buttery soft and marbled. All that deliciousness receives a Beef Marbling System rating of A5, the scale’s top rating for Japanese black cows. A four-ounce steak will set you back $96. Worth every cent.
