Quick Bytes: Kansas City-based Spin Pizza coming to Dallas, Central Market to open two additional area stores

The pizza invasion continues, with Kansas City based Spin! Neapolitan Pizza moving into town. A tip from an EscapeHatch reader says the KC pizza chain founded in 2005 has secured a Dallas location, but the company will only allow that they are “looking” for a space. Spin! has locations in KC, Omaha and Orange County, California. Spin! offers a menu packed! with pizzas! gelato! sandwiches! and salads! The video below shows their oven is a gasser, not a wood-fueled beauty (so Jay Jerrier and his VPN brothers can exhale) or coal-fueled oven (so Samir Dhurandhar and his Coal Vines staff can look the other way, too).

And our tight-lipped friends at H.E.B. will soon announce “one or two more” Central Market stores will be constructed in the Dallas market in the next few months. That from a loose-lipped Central Market exec who knows such things but wouldn’t spill more details.
