Coconut cocktails from barman Jason Kosmas headlining at Truck Yard this weekend


 

Intoxicologist Jason Kosmas designed three tropical cocktails to be served in coconut shells this weekend at the Truck Yard. You get to do the heavy lifting: splitting the coconut (coconut, hamber and instructions provided) and drinking the Lada Colada (pineapple-infused Caña Brava Rum, lime juice and simple syrup) Lime in d’ Coconut (Fords Gin, lime juice and Angostura Bitters) or My Tie (Caña Brava Rum, lime juice, orgeat syrup and orange liqueur), each mixed with the coconut water from your nut.

$10 per drink.  Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2 from 5 p.m. until the supply of 100 coconuts (and hammers) runs out. Or until Kosmas passes out.
