Looks like The Establishment has closed

Nobody is answering the phone or opening the doors at The Establishment, the long-delayed restaurant and bar in the former Trece space off Knox Street, and insiders who usually know such things say past-due taxes played a role in The Establishment’s closure.

The Establishment was created by barman Michael Martensen (who now co-owns Driftwood and Proof + Pantry) and Brian Williams (Cedars Social). That partnership dissolved in a messy rumble, leaving Williams to operate The Establishment plus a wounded Smyth, the adjacent cocktail lounge Williams and Martensen created, to wither then die.
