North Texas Food Bank fundraiser “Taste of the NFL” set for Sunday, May 3 at AT&T Stadium

The Taste of the NFL moves to a new location this year when it returns for its 11th year AT&T Stadium. The dine-around fundraiser benefiting the North Texas Food Bank will feature a few past and present Dallas Cowboys players, including Travis Frederick, NFL Hall of Fame inductee Charles Haley and former Cowboys Chad Hennings and Preston Pearson. Abacus chef Kent Rathbun and more than a dozen other chef will be serving food for the walk-around portion of the event, which also includes cocktails, live entertainment, silent and live auctions and what organizers are calling “fun tailgate games,” which probably does not involve taking off your clothes and touching someone.

Since its inception in 2005, Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party has raised more than $1.61 million for hungry North Texas children.

Sunday, May 3, 2015, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  $150 per ticket here.
