Lucia chef Justin Holt reprises ramen pop-ups on March 14, March 28


He’s at it again. Lucia sous chef Justin Holt is heading back to the late night kitchen to reprise his from-scratch ramen pop-up dinners, this time at the Time Out Tavern on March 14 and March 28 at the Dubliner. Holt has been holding these occasional midnight snack meals for the last four years.

“I like doing these events because it allows me another outlet for my creativity.” Holt wrote in an email. “I enjoy soup and I love making noodles.” So, there you have it. Traditional ramen (chicken and pork shoyu, egg, scallion, smaltz, and char-su) on March 14, duck ramen (shoyu broth, confit duck, bamboo shoot, and scallion) on the 28th. Bring $10 cash; no CCs accepted.  Midnight till 2 am, unless the soup runs out sooner.
