KC-based 54th Street Drafthouse to open in Las Colinas in April

Kansas City-based 54th Street Grill will enter the DFW market next month with the opening of 54th Street Drafthouse in Irving/Las Colinas. The restaurant bills itself as a casual bar and grill and touts “high quality meats and ingredients, fresh produce and meals prepared from scratch.” Their 150-item menu offers burgers, ribs, steaks, “Mexican fare,” “pit smoked brisket” and $7.99 lunch specials.

The Irving location will feature an enclosed patio, several dozen draft beers served at 29 degrees, which they call the “coldest beer in town,” though their neighbor, Twin Peaks, which also serves sub-freezing beer, might have a different opinion.

A Fort Worth 54th Street Drafthouse is slated to open this fall.
