Two Plano students are among the six DFW high school students who’s original art will be on display on the big chalkboards at Dallas’ Lark on the Park restaurant through July 8.

Plano East Senior High School student Fernando Avelar and Plano West Senior High School student Varsha Kumar created two of the pieces (shown above, with Varsha’s on the top); they and four other young artists who will scale scaffolding at Lark on the Park during this Sunday’s  “Blackboard Transformation Brunch” to transform the blackboards with their chalk art.

The project is part of the Dallas Museum of Art’s Young Masters exhibition in conjunction with the O’Donnell Foundation’s Advanced Placement Arts Incentive Program. The student chalk art will remain on display  through July 8, 2018.
