Steak Town: Nick & Sam’s opening a marquee steakhouse at NYC’s Rockefeller Center

Watch out, Del Frisco’s, another beefy Texan wants to knock you off your NYC steakhouse perch.

Coming off another year of record sales, Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse has a inked a big deal to open a Nick and Sam’s in Manhattan’s Rockefeller Center late next year.

“We have so many customers from New York who have asked us to open in the City, so we are finally doing it,” says Samir Dhurandhar, the executive chef and partner of Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse in Dallas’ Uptown neighborhood.

Will Derek Jeter, a frequent customer of Nick and Sam’s in Dallas, become a regular at the Manhattan location?

“I sure hope so,” says Dhurandhar.
